CRM (Software that holds customer details, deals and sales notes.) pricing in Ireland runs from €9 to €79 per user per month on annual billing, before VAT. A five-person team pays between €540 and €2,340 a year on the plans compared here, and the plan level moves the bill far more than the number of seats. This guide lists the official euro prices of Zoho CRM, Pipedrive and Freshsales as seen from Ireland on 15 October 2026, plus the yearly totals at 3, 5 and 10 users.
Key takeaways
- Paid plans start at €9 per user per month with Freshsales Growth, while Zoho Standard and Pipedrive Lite both cost €14.
- Zoho CRM has a free edition for up to 3 users; Pipedrive and Freshsales offer free trials only.
- Annual billing costs less than paying monthly on all three products.
- Listed prices exclude VAT, which Irish customers pay on top.
- A five-person team pays €540 to €2,340 a year on the plans in the tables below, before VAT.

How CRM pricing works#
The range above comes from one rule that holds across all three vendors. Most providers charge for every person who logs in, so the bill is the per-user price, times the number of users, times twelve months. Imagine Niall, who runs a five-person tool and parts wholesaler in Tullamore. He prices five seats from the start, because a free plan would stop well before his whole team is covered.
Paying for twelve months up front, known as annual billing, costs less than paying month by month, and each vendor states its own saving on its pricing page. Entry plans hold contacts and deals. The price steps up when a team needs automation (Software rules that carry out routine tasks without a person.) or better reports, and paid extras called add-ons (Extras you pay for on top of a plan.) sit outside the plan price.
One thing catches Irish buyers out. Listed prices are before tax, and VAT is added to the final invoice. The table below sets out the official list prices in euro, per user per month, on annual billing, at the time of writing in October 2026.
| Software | Plan | Price per user per month, annual billing |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho CRM | Free | €0, up to 3 users |
| Zoho CRM | Standard | €14 |
| Zoho CRM | Professional | €23 |
| Zoho CRM | Enterprise | €40 |
| Zoho CRM | Ultimate | €52 |
| Pipedrive | Lite | €14 |
| Pipedrive | Growth | €39 |
| Pipedrive | Premium | €59 |
| Pipedrive | Ultimate | €79 |
| Freshsales | Growth | €9 |
| Freshsales | Pro | €39 |
| Freshsales | Enterprise | €59 |
Official list prices as seen from Ireland, 15 October 2026, excluding VAT; Irish customers pay VAT on top.
Tip: Turn every plan into a yearly total: per-user price, times users, times twelve. That is the number a budget has to carry.
Zoho CRM pricing#
Want this done for your business? Talk to us about Lead generation & CRM automation
Zoho is the only one of the three with a free plan, which is why it often anchors a small team’s shortlist. According to Zoho, the Free Edition is free forever for 3 users, and the paid editions run from Standard at €14 per user per month up to Ultimate at €52. Annual billing saves up to 34% against paying monthly, and local taxes such as VAT are charged on top.
Niall cannot use the free edition, because his team has five people. In practice, a team moves from Standard up to Professional when it wants automation, such as a rule that updates a record or sends a follow-up without anyone asking. A team with no such need usually stays on Standard.
Pipedrive and Freshsales pricing#
The other two products give a clearer starting point for a team larger than three, and neither one offers a free plan. Pipedrive gives a 14-day free trial instead, and Pipedrive lists Lite at €14 per seat per month on annual billing, rising to €79 for Ultimate; a seat is one user. The same page puts the yearly seat prices at €168 to €948.
Annual billing saves up to 42% against monthly, and those prices exclude VAT. EU customers are billed VAT at their own member state rate unless they give a valid VAT number. Niall checks whether Pipedrive Lite covers the automation he needs, because it costs the same as Zoho Standard.
Freshsales is the cheapest way in. Freshworks lists Growth at €9 per user per month on annual billing, Pro at €39 and Enterprise at €59. Every plan includes 500 marketing contacts (People you can send marketing emails to from the CRM.), annual billing saves 20% against monthly, and there is a 21-day free trial. Paid extras include Freddy AI Agent at €45 per 100 sessions and branded documents at €19 per user per month.

What a year of CRM costs for 3, 5 and 10 users#
Because every product is priced per user, the yearly bill rises with headcount, but the plan still matters more than the number of seats. The table below is simple arithmetic from the official list prices above, not a quote: monthly price, times users, times twelve. Salesforce Starter Suite appears for comparison and is covered in its own paragraph further down.
| Plan | 3 users | 5 users | 10 users |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zoho Standard | €504 | €840 | €1,680 |
| Zoho Professional | €828 | €1,380 | €2,760 |
| Pipedrive Lite | €504 | €840 | €1,680 |
| Pipedrive Growth | €1,404 | €2,340 | €4,680 |
| Freshsales Growth | €324 | €540 | €1,080 |
| Freshsales Pro | €1,404 | €2,340 | €4,680 |
| Salesforce Starter Suite | €900 | €1,500 | €3,000 |
Annual totals from official list prices, 15 October 2026, excluding VAT; simple arithmetic, not a quote.
Note: Every figure here comes from a vendor’s own pricing page and excludes VAT. Add the Irish rate before comparing it with a quote.
Niall’s five-seat shortlist lands between €540 and €2,340 a year, before VAT. At ten users the gap widens sharply, from €1,080 on the cheapest plan to €4,680 on a growth plan. The same arithmetic works at any team size.
Best low cost CRM for Irish small businesses#
The cheapest options come straight from the tables above. Zoho CRM’s free edition covers up to 3 users at no cost, so a sole trader or a two-person team pays nothing. Freshsales Growth is the lowest paid price at €9 per user per month, while Zoho Standard and Pipedrive Lite both cost €14.
For Niall, the free edition is out of reach and the €14 plans look like the sensible floor. A cheap CRM stops being cheap in a few ways. The first is a move up a tier, meaning a more expensive plan level, which usually happens when a team needs automation or better reports. The second is add-ons, such as AI sessions or extra document features. The third is set-up time, including cleaning old records and training the team.
Choosing between plans is a different question from pricing them. The Baikou guide to CRM software covers that side, and this guide sticks to cost.
Watch out: The entry price is rarely the final price. Automation, reporting and AI extras usually sit in a higher tier or as a paid extra.
Salesforce and HubSpot in one paragraph#
Two bigger names sit above this price range. Salesforce lists Starter Suite from €25 per user per month, billed monthly or annually, and Pro Suite from €100 per user per month on an annual contract. HubSpot does not publish a simple per-seat price for its customer platform; HubSpot sends buyers to a pricing calculator instead, so no figure is given here. Baikou looks at both in more detail in its guides to Salesforce costs and HubSpot pricing. Niall drops both for now, because a five-person wholesaler does not need an enterprise platform.
How Baikou’s team runs a CRM in practice#
Baikou’s team runs this kind of CRM set-up for a business selling in several countries. Enquiries from ad forms in each country pass an SMS check, then automations built in Make move each one into the CRM, so no lead is retyped by hand.
Inside the CRM, an AI assistant with a knowledge base about the company and its offers drafts the follow-ups, and a person checks each one before it goes out. A salesperson steps in once the lead is qualified and has started replying. The licence is a small part of that system; the set-up around it is what makes it work.

Putting a CRM to work in an Irish business#
The licence is only the start. What decides whether the software pays for itself is the work of putting it to use, and that work looks much the same on a €9 plan as on a €79 one.
Most Irish SMEs already run an accounts package for invoices and bookkeeping, an online shop or a support inbox, and the CRM has to connect to those systems. Before buying, ask what each vendor connects to, and whether that connection is included or charged as an extra.
Data migration (Moving your existing records into a new system.) is the part that surprises people. A contact list in a spreadsheet often holds duplicates and three versions of the same company name, so someone has to clean it before import. It is reasonable to budget a few days for that job alone.
Next come approvals and workflows (Rules for who signs off and what happens next.) Someone has to decide who sees which records and who approves a discount. The system also needs a rule for what happens when a deal is won, and the sales team needs training to keep records up to date. Niall blocks out that time before he signs anything.
Some jobs suit off-the-shelf tools poorly. Quotes with several delivery addresses, tender pricing, multi-currency invoices and job costing often need extra configuration. Buyers also ask where the servers sit, in other words which country holds the records, and who is allowed to see the data. It is fair to request both answers in writing.
Outside help, meaning a specialist who does the set-up, is worth pricing when the records are messy and the team has no spare hours. Baikou’s lead generation and CRM page describes what that set-up work involves.
The Local Enterprise Office Grow Digital Voucher may part-fund new off-the-shelf software subscriptions along with their set-up and training. The Baikou guide to the Grow Digital Voucher sets out who can apply.
What to do next#
Count the people who will really log in, then price the two cheapest plans that fit how the team sells. Work out the yearly total before VAT, because that is the number a budget has to carry. Run a short trial on both options and time the set-up, not just the screens. Baikou helps Irish businesses with lead generation and CRM set-up, and the Baikou home page sets out its services.
How these numbers were worked out
The monthly prices come from the official pricing pages of Zoho, Pipedrive, Freshworks and Salesforce, all linked above and checked from Ireland on 15 October 2026. The yearly totals are arithmetic from those same list prices: price per user, times users, times twelve. Vendor prices change, and VAT, discounts and promotions sit outside the figures given here. Treat each total as a guide for comparison, not as a quote.

How much does a low cost CRM cost per month?
Freshsales Growth is the lowest paid price in this comparison, at €9 per user per month on annual billing. Zoho Standard and Pipedrive Lite both come in at €14, so five seats on either of them costs €70 a month, before VAT, while the same five seats on Freshsales Growth cost €45. Zoho’s free edition brings the cost to zero for a team of three or fewer.
Is there a free CRM for a small Irish business?
Yes, one of the three compared here: Zoho CRM’s Free Edition, which stays free for up to 3 users. That covers a sole trader or a very small team, but a fourth login moves the business onto a paid plan. Pipedrive and Freshsales have no free plan, offering 14-day and 21-day trials instead. VAT applies to any paid plan.
Is Copper CRM pricing competitive for a small team?
Copper CRM’s official pricing was not checked for this article, so no figure is given. Vendors show different prices in different regions and change them without notice. Check Copper’s own pricing page, and confirm the billing period and anything charged outside the plan before putting it on a shortlist.
What should an Irish business know about Sugar CRM pricing?
SugarCRM pricing was not checked for this article, so no number appears here. Ask the vendor for a written quote that separates licence cost from set-up and support. Then compare that yearly figure with the totals in the table above.
Is Octopus CRM a CRM for SME sales teams?
Whether the tool fits a small sales team is a question about features rather than price, and this guide sticks to price. Official Octopus CRM pricing was not checked for this article, so no cost is quoted. If it is on your list, check its own pricing page and compare the per-user price, the billing period and any add-ons with the plans above. A low headline price can hide a short trial period or a separate charge for a feature you need.
